Market situation:

Very bad weather at the start of the year meant that almost no-one made it to Vakantiebeurs travel show on 7th/8th Jan.  The positive is that bad weather makes people think more about holidays and going somewhere nicer. 

Destinations Travel shows in Manchester mid-month and in London at the end of the month were both far more positive.  Very good turnout of customers and agents so they worked out to be more of a very cheap trade show for me as I caught up with lots of agents, Air NZ, etc.

February and March:

Late February is a Europe tour of key agents which has been popular with all the agents I have contacted.  This is obviously followed up soon after with ITB in Berlin.  See attached appointment schedule so far.  Last year I had 19 pre-booked appointments but ended up with 30.  This year we are already up to 22 pre-booked with over a month to go!
