November news

In November we had WTM and the Luxury Travel fair in London.  Joining the NZTEC/ATEC stand at WTM definitely helped focus trade to one point which resulted in far more meetings than normal.  The Luxury Travel fair was disappointing but there were a couple of potential new agents.

There is some huge PR potential for New Zealand as ITV are planning on a series of episodes of Gary Barlow doing his food/wine tour in NZ.  This was a great success in Australia as he and his celebrity friends travelled around https://www.itv.com/watch/gary-barlows-wine-tour/10a5527

December and January:

Busy time in NZ and with the agents at peak booking time, especially in January.  There is Vakantibeurs trade show in Utrecht early in January and then Destinations consumer show in London late in January.  I will be attending both to catch up with agents and tourism bodies.
